It all started with a party! Since launching in 2016, Jollity & Co has been obsessed with curating a collection of party decorations, giftable, and tableware items that create beautiful and memorable parties and events. We love parties and finding a reason to celebrate every event! We currently manage three online retail shops and two wholesale lines. Positions Available:

RETAIL WAREHOUSE LEAD - NORFOLK, VA

What we are looking for:

Jollity & Co + Daydream seeks a positive and energetic person to join our retail warehouse team! The ideal candidate will be genuinely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Jollity & Co and Daydream Society brands, gift-giving, and entertaining! We are looking for someone who shares our positive vibes and vibrant aesthetic and can kill it at multitasking.

What you’ll do:

  • Work alongside our Warehouse Manager as our Warehouse Lead 
  • Assist with the shipping, fulfillment, and packing for three lifestyle brands: Jollity & Co, Daydream Society, and Shop Sweet Lulu.
  • Send customer service emails and implement creative solutions to meet customer needs if needed.
  • Ship utilizing multi-carrier software or carrier-specific systems.
  • Process all orders in carrier software.
  • Check-in inventory and maintain inventory accuracy by recording and adequately disposing of damaged products, marking each carton with contents, and adjusting the bulk area when removing products to replenish locations.
  • Process incoming freight trucks promptly while correctly reporting the receipt.
  • Take initiative to help and work well with other Warehouse Staff and Employees.
  • Perform weekly supply inventory and conduct cycle counts as required.
  • Comply with company safety procedures.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks.

What you can bring to the table:

  • At least two years of experience in a retail sales environment
  • Be self-motivated, independent, and enthusiastic
  • Have the gumption to hop on the phone and call customers if needed
  • Outstanding relationship development skills (you're like amazingly good at working with others)
  • Exceptional project and time management skills - we have an extensive list of daily orders and hundreds of products; how will you segment your days helping our customers, managing our team, and checking in new products? 
  • Proficient in programs including Word and Excel
  • A solutions-oriented mentality
  • Growth mindset - you’re always imaging what’s possible, leveraging past learnings, and have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to safely lift to 75lbs

What we offer:

GRAPHIC DESIGNER - NORFOLK, VA


What we're looking for:
We are a small design forward group that specializes in high-end party products. We are seeking a Production Designer to manage production art setups across several projects related to product and packaging design. These projects will completed within adobe illustrator/photoshop, require a high-technical ability, knowledge of multiple printing methods, and collaborations with management to optimize printability and quality through production.
What you'll do:
  • Manage Artwork, Die lines and Workflows across multiple brands while adhering to differing style guides and brand requirements
  • Develop packaging for all in-house brands
  • Establish print-ready files based on concept art
  • Creating production art files for product sampling and manufacturing, minimizing revisions and resampling.
  • Advise and Implement solutions for production challenges
  • Work with vendors to ensure quality through production
  • Assisting with product renderings, physical mock-ups, packaging, presentation tools and marketing materials.
  • Oversee label content review process
  • Color Manage Images and Documents
  • Providing support to the Art Directors with additional duties as necessary.
  • Adapt designs across multiple dielines and configurations
  • Provide technical artwork support to the concept and product rendering teams
    What you can bring to the table:
    • 3+ years in print production
    • Knowledgable of various print and manufacturing processes
    • Strong with Illustrator & Photoshop
    • Strong communication skills
    • Attention to detail, must be extremely organized with the ability to multi-task
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking.
    • Eye for balanced layouts

    • **Additional consideration will be given to experience with printing presses, or other relevant graphic design experience.

          WHOLESALE ACCOUNTS - NORFOLK, VA

           

          What we're looking for: 

          Jollity & Co + Daydream is seeking a motivated and driven sales professional to join our wholesale team! The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, independent, and creative. We are looking for someone who shares our positive vibes and vibrant aesthetic and can kill it at multitasking. In this role, you will work closely with customers, our Wholesale Manager, and other sales reps, plus our customer service and marketing teams, to help with all duties and projects that come under the responsibility of our sales department. 

           

          What you’ll do:
          • Make outbound calls to customers and potential customer accounts.
          • Follow up with existing customers via phone about reorders and how the products are selling in their stores.
          • Communicate with clients via email and phone for wholesale inquiries and applications.
          • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
          • Regularly solicit new products to current customers.
          • Manage lead database and other wholesale systems to maximize sales and efficiency.
          • Researching new key accounts, we need to be working with. You're the go-to on all the new stores wherever our line needs to be. You understand where our brand fits and where it does not.
          • Act as a brand ambassador for Jollity + Daydream, ensuring customers know our brand and product offerings.
          • Assist the Wholesale Manager with distributor management, research opportunities, and distribution plans. 
          • Support Wholesale Manager when needed.
          • Assist as needed for market season prep.
          • Work in the Wholesale markets in a sales capacity during market season (January, February, June, July) as needed.
          • Manage our wholesale ordering platforms. Including but not limited to adding new products, adjusting products, uploading product imagery, etc., while adhering to brand standards
          • Help unload trucks with our warehouse team when new products arrive.
          • Other duties as assigned.

           

          What you can bring to the table:

          • Have 2-5 years of inside sales or customer service experience
          • Be self-motivated, independent, and enthusiastic
          • Have the gumption to hop on the phone and cold call new accounts
          • Holds proven track record of sales achievement and has a serious passion to win
          • Outstanding relationship development skills (you're like amazingly good at working with others)
          • Exceptional project and time management skills - we have an extensive list of retailers and products; how will you segment your days to contact them all while fielding incoming calls, too? 
          • Strong influencing and negotiating abilities
          • Have previous customer service and retail experience
